Privacy Policy

We collect information needed to provide the part of EdgeUp you use:

• For the free sample: your email, referral source, the sample you open, your answers and any optional question you send us, including your choices about updates or reusing that question.
• For an account or membership: your email, sign-in information supplied by Google if you choose Google sign-in, and your membership and payment records. Stripe handles your card details; we do not store them.
• When you use the site or contact us: necessary cookies, basic technical and security information, and the messages you send.

Please do not send sensitive personal information or confidential employer information in a question or message.

We use this information to provide the free sample, sign-in and membership; process payments and refunds; answer support and privacy requests; protect the service; and understand which parts of EdgeUp people use. If you opt in to updates, we may email you about EdgeUp; you can withdraw that choice by contacting us. We only reuse a submitted question in public content if you separately agreed to that use, and we remove identifying details.

We do not sell your personal information or share it with recruiters or employers.

We use Supabase for accounts and data storage, Cloudflare for hosting and security, Stripe for payments, Google for optional sign-in, and email providers for sign-in messages and support. Our Supabase database is hosted in Sydney. Some providers may process information outside Australia. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

We keep information while it is needed to provide the service, resolve requests, and meet legal or accounting requirements. We use access controls and encrypted connections. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove identifying details where practical.

You can ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to records we must keep by law. You can use our open pages without creating an account. Email support@edgeup.app with a request or to withdraw your update-email consent.

We use cookies needed for sign-in and site security. Payment and sign-in providers may use their own cookies when you use those services. We do not use advertising cookies.

For a privacy question or complaint, email support@edgeup.app. We will consider your request and respond. You may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner where its jurisdiction applies.

We may update this policy as the service changes. The date above shows the current version.
